Redditch is divided into several districts. The public space and commercial district are located in the town's center, including the Church Green. The area is treated as a separate district. Church Green creates a traditional center in Redditch in the style of a town square or village green. Included is fountain and bandstand. St. Stephen's Church dominates the center and is where there is several estate agents, banks, shops for charities, and many other businesses are located there.

Church Hill Ward, on the northeast corner of town, is the largest Redditch estate. It conducts annual elections of Councilors because it is so large and has so many of them. The estate included Marfield Barn, Moons Moat, and Bomford Hill as well as a Roman amphitheater. The estate is divided into different sections. The North where the main residents is located, the center with a commercial center that includes a shop, medical center, dentist, and flats plus a first and middle school.

South with the main social housing. The North and South areas are divided by Church Hill Way, a road for only buses, and Church Hill Center in the middle. The geometric layout of Church Hill separates the North's private residents from the South's residents as they go about their day to day lives but the children come together in the areas common schools. It has been called by some an experiment of social planning. The estate gets its name from St. Leonards Church combined with the hill it is located on that sits just north of Church Hill on Beoley.

The area Headless cross was once its own village. There are two schools located there, Walkwood CE Middle School and the Vaynor First School with both being located on Feckenham Road. Since it is higher than most areas, the two water towers for the town are located there. The old water tower has been made into a residence. The current one dominated the Reddich skyline all the way to the Hollybush Inn. The 1989 Black Sabbath album "Headless Cross" is named after the districts.
