Located on Mount's bay Penzance is the largest borough in Cornwall, only 10 miles from Land's End. It's natural beauty makes it easy to see why people come to this town. Once a fishing village, there is still many ancient villages along the cliff walks.

Penzance is home to many different attractions for visitors to enjoy during their stay. A good place to start the relaxation is to stroll around one of the many different gardens that you can choose from. Of the gardens many of them date back to the early 1800s. If you are interested in walking there is plenty of walking trails to enjoy. Nearby Land's End peninsula is a perfect place for a costal walk. In Penzance has the St. Ives coastal walk and also Tinner's way. Both of them give you plenty of breath-taking views and high moorlands to enjoy the view.

Bird watching is another favoured past time of visitors to the area. You can see a variety of habitats including reed-beds, woodland, mudflats, reservoir pools and more. There are many rare species that appear annually in the Marazion March and the Hayle Esturay.

The sports man can enjoy a plethora of sporting opportunities. With cliff walks and bird watching among those sports visitors can also enjoy: canoeing, fishing, golf, swimming, tennis, windsurfing, scuba diving, sailing and many other activities. There are activities for just about everyone.

If you are interested in Night clubs then Penzance is not going to disappoint you. Visitors can find clubs to enjoy no matter what their musical interest. With St Ives nearby your disco adventure can obtain unlimited success.

For those interested in the theatre and cinema then you can do that too. Penzance is home to a three screen cinema that claims to be the longest running cinema in the country. The cinema not only show major releases but also plays host to many children's and specialty films.

It is also home to the Acorn Theatre. The theatre and company offers a variety of performances and concerts throughout the year. They also hold many of these performances outside in the Minack theatre and Penlee park during the summer.
