LIanelli is the largest town in the Welsh county of Carmarthenshire. Carmarthenshire lies in the south west of Wales and is one of thirteen historic counties.
The most well known aspect of LIanelli is its rugby tournaments. It is probably the best known place in Wales where you can find immense numbers of rugby fans moreover throughout the year tournaments are held with all the glamour of the game.
LIanelli has the reputation of an ever growing urban town but if you want to engage with the Welsh villages then you will just have to drive a little more to reach the culturally rich outskirts of the town. The sheer contrast of these villages from the urban LIanelli may pleasantly surprise you and some of the very well preserved cultural traditions can be witnessed in these villages.
Although LIanelli was initially known in the historical books as a small mining town but no one can tell this modest aspect of the town from its dazzling buildings. National Wetland Centre is a fantastic place to spend the whole day. Wales's most stunning wildlife is kept in this marvellous place to attract the tourists from all across Britain. This wildlife centre is spread across 500 acres and offers compilation of native and exotic animals.
Another tourist attraction is the Millennium Coastal Path. This is one remarkable twenty kilometer path that remains open throughout the year for the incoming visitors. LIanelli local administration has taken steps to improve the tracks and the associated facilities.
