The two double bedrooms are comfortable, with plenty of built in wardrobe space. Each room is fully heated and has a colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms look over the pretty garden and have a quiet aspect. Both can be easily made into a family room.   The bathroom is a warm and modern room, with a bath and inbuilt shower. Warm soft towels are provided and a hairdryer and ironing facilities are available.   Breakfast is served in the spacious and comfortable dining room adjacent to the kitchen and with an outlook into the beautiful, well kept garden. This is an idyllic peaceful place to start your day. There are two pubs in Oulton one of which serves good home cooked meals. There are also many country pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area catering for a variety of tastes. Wedgwood is a few minutes away with a museum worth visiting. Trentham Gardens, Biddulph Grange and Dorothy Clive Gardens for the plant and garden enthusiasts. Alton Towers for the more active is in easy reach by car. Shuborough Hall, Sudbury Hall, Issak Walton's House and many National Trust Properties surround the area. Stafford County Show Grounds is less than 20 minutes away. The Churnet Valley, Foxfield Railways, Lichfield and it's Cathedral, Cannock Chase for walking and mountain biking. North Staffordshire moors, Derbyshire Dales and the potteries with all its heritage are all within easy traveling distance. Theatres: The New Vic, The Gatehouse, The Garrick, and Rideware Theatre to name a few. Close to the M6 motorway Stoke on Trent and Stafford, "ye old post office" is an idyllic retreat. Leave the M6 North bound at J14. Follow the A34 to Stone and then the A520 to Leek. Oulton is one mile out of Stone, north of the A520. |
