In a family friendly atmosphere a full cooked breakfast with several options is served between 8 and 9.15 am unless by special arrangement. Evening meals can be served by prior agreement. Tea and Coffee are always available and afternoon teas served daily.
100 miles west of John o Groats 16 kilometres east of Cape Wrath on the north coast is Durness the most north-westerly inhabited locality on mainland Britain. The village of Durness serves a large area of scattered townships and farms and is a major tourist destination in the far North of Scotland with an abundance of scenic, wildlife and cultural attractions.
The corner of the Scottish Highlands is accessible on single track road, the A838 winds its way around this part. To arrive at Durness the traveller must pass through some of the most spectacular scenery in the world and the locality offers a superb range of pursuits.
