Pat and Geoff have welcomed visitors to their 4-star B & B since 1999. Enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding hills from the house and large, walled garden. It's an ideal base for discovering the unspoilt scenery and historic towns of Mid Wales, Shropshire and Herefordshire. Westwood is in a quiet part of Knighton, a few minutes' walk from the town centre, where two National Trails, Offa's Dyke Path and Glyndwr's Way, pass through the town. Knighton is a small market town, with a good range of shops and leisure facilities and a wide choice of pubs and restaurants. The town has bus services to nearby towns and is on the spectacular Heart of Wales railway line from Shrewsbury to Swansea.  We have three guest bedrooms on the first floor; two double-bedded ensuite rooms and one twin-bedded room with adjacent private bathroom. All the bedrooms are large and modern with all the comforts and facilities you would expect from a 4 star B & B.   Guests are welcomed on arrival with afternoon tea and we are pleased to serve refreshments at other times on request. Our garden is the perfect place to relax after a day's activities. 
 It's an ideal base for walking, with plenty of local walks from the doorstep and Offa's Dyke Path and Glyndwr's Way a few minutes' walk from the house. Pat and Geoff are keen walkers; we love the area and have a good local knowledge which we are pleased to share. There's a good selection of local information leaflets, guides and maps for guests to borrow. Pat and Geoff take great pleasure in ensuring guests have a memorable stay; whether walking, cycling or visiting the area by car for business or pleasure, we know you will enjoy the friendly, informal and relaxed atmosphere at Westwood. |
