The hotel is a small independent thirty six bedroom establishment. For your information we were the very first hotel to openon the Newcastle Quayside back in November 1990 so have experienced the many changes to the development of the Quayside area i.e. The Millennium Bridge, The Baltic (Contempary Gallery) and The Sage (music centre due to open 2004). Over the years of trading we have established a reputation for providing a 'Home from Home' experience with friendly, Geordie hospitality for which the area is renowned.
Many city centre attractions are within walking distance; these include the centre for Life, Theatre Royal, Newcastle Arena, Eldon Square shopping centre, the Medieval Castle keep and an abundance of first class restaurants and bars. Our guests often comment that Newcastle richly deserves its title as the eighth top party city in the world!
