Welcome to Walton High Rigg Farm
Mrs Margaret Mounsey and her family are delighted to welcome you to their 144 acre mixed farm.
The spacious 18th century listed farmhouse has panoramic views over the Lake District and the Pennine hills. It is on the roadside but has excellent off-road parking.
The farm is one mile from the attractive village of Walton and close to the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site.
There are many excellent walks around the unspoilt countryside of the Borders region, many of which are directly accessible from High Rigg Farm.

High Rigg Farm has a large mature garden with a comfortable patio and children's play area.
There are wash hand basins in the bedroom, with shaver points, tea and coffee making facilities and colour television.
There is a colour television in the lounge and a separate dining room. A pool table is available for your entertainment.
Visitors will enjoy excellent farmhouse cooking using much of our own home-grown vegetables and soft fruit, as well as locally reared meat.
Golf, fishing, rowing, sailing, windsurfing and riding can be enjoyed locally.
Gretna Green is just 14 miles away, and for visitors interested in history, the Roman Fort at Birdoswald is only 5 miles away, and the historic border city of Carlisle is 10 miles away.
The Waterfall on the River Cambeck is one of many features of the Walton High Rigg Trail. |
See our prize-winning cattle and sheep. Help to feed the calves, lambs and hens. Follow a farm trail to the waterfall and observe the flora and fauna.
High Rigg Farm is an excellent stop-over point between England and Scotland, and our many visitors return again and again.
