Tynllwyn is a large modernised farmhouse dated 1861 on a working beef and sheep farm and guests are welcome on the farm all year round. The farm is approached up a long private drive a mile out of Welshpool with beautiful views of the Severn Valley and Long Mountain.  Welshpool is a country market town in mid Wales and we are ideally situated for lovely walks along Glyndwr's Way and Offa's Dyke. We have many places of interest to visit e.g. Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway (one of the great little steam trains of Wales), Canal Boat trips and beautiful Powys Castle. Market day is held every Monday. |
Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Single, double and family bedrooms, all with Central heating, colour television, hot and cold wash units, and tea making facilities, shower room and bathroom. All bedrooms en-suite.  The large guest lounge has colour television and open log fires in the winter. You are assured of a warm welcome and country hospitality. In the Dining Room we serve plentiful farmhouse meals and an English breakfast. Home produced honey, eggs and vegetables are used in season.  |

There is also fishing, golf, pony trekking, quad bike trekking, and a modern leisure centre with swimming pool, fitness suite and bowls hall. We are central for many worthwhile day trips to the North and West Coast. Both properties have oil fired central heating (included) and own patio area at front and access to grounds and fields. Bed Linen and towels are provided. Laundry facilities (washing machine and tumble dryer). |
Directions to Tynllwyn Farm We are situated one mile out of Welshpool on the A490 (North). When approaching Welshpool on the bypass follow signs for the Steam Railway, which will bring you to Raven Roundabout. Take A490 North towards Llanfyllin. We are 1 mile along that road on the left hand side.  |
