The hotel is situated in Blackpool's South Shore which is popular, with the Blackpool Pleasure beach, and the Sandcastle, are only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The Blackpool Tower and the Town centre 15 minutes walk, or use the Trams, which stop at the end of the road - only 150 metres away! We started the business in October 2006, re-opening after a 2 year closure (due to retirement / ill health of the previous proprietors.) Our aim is to offer Quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation and value for money to families and couples.We have 4 family rooms, 1 twin, and the rest are double rooms. We are members of the 'Blackpool Hotel and Guest house association', and also await the approval from Blackpool tourist board's 'Quality scheme'. The property was built as a private villa in a Gothic style in 1858, and still contains many original features, plaster covings and ceiling roses etc. The rooms are spacious, and comfortable, of which 4 are en-suite. |
