Situated deep within a secluded valley and set in its own grounds astride the banks of the river Nervern , here you can relax in the peaceful surroundings of this historic place and recapture the enchantment of a bygone era. The Trewern Arms is easily accessible by road, rail or sea, being only 9 miles from the main ferryport and railhead of Fishguard to the south, which it itself on the A40, and Cardigan to the north.

It is the public bar, aptly named 'The Brew House', where you really capture the spirit of this country Inn, with its original flagstone floors, stone walls, old settles and traditional old beams decorated with an amazing assortment of bric-a-brac gathered over many years.This popular 'local' where many a story can be re-lived in the uniquely warm hearted and congenial atmosphere. The Brew house offers an extensive range of bar meals served from an open grill area (last orders at 9.00pm) which can be enjoyed either in the nooks and crannies of the bar or the secluded garden. Where ever you may choose to eat you can be sure to have your taste buds tested.

The lounge bar is a cosy, warm retreat with comfortable sofas, armchairs, cottage furnishings and colour schemes to help you relax and unwind. Pembrokeshire boasts a wide range of things to do, see and experience. The magnificent coastline can be walked throughout the year and boasts a myriad of wild flowers, seabirds and scenery which is quite special. The sunsets are a joy to behold.

For the more active is a wide range of water sports, golf, horse riding, trekking, sailing, surfing etc. There are castles to explore, churches to see, and we must not forget the cathedral at St Davids which is well worth a short pilgrimage.

Inland there are the Presili hills, the origin of the bluestones at stonehenge. The tranquil & picturesque village of Nevern is ideal for fishing, rambling, sightseeing or just relaxing whichever mood takes you.

The nearby historical 11th century church and Celtic Cross with its world famous bleeding yew tree in the graveyard. Also the 6th century pilgrims cross is a must for sightseers. The burial grounds at Brynberian are of great interest as is the Iron Age Village reconstruction of the original site at Castle henllys.
There are many country walks, with the recently open Carn Ingli walk, a great favourite with ramblers.

With a host of other activities such as watersports, horseriding, golf etc. within two miles of the Trewern Arms Hotel at Nevern it makes an ideal get-away-from-it-all centre.
