Graham and Greg welcome you to their comfortable 4 Star Edwardian Guesthouse close to Glastonbury Town Centre, Glastonbury Tor, Chalice Well Gardens, Rural Life Museum and other local attractions. We offer a quality bed and breakfast service in the heart of Glastonbury, from where exploring Glastonbury Abbey, Glastonbury Tor and the Glastonbury Thorn is a matter of a short stroll.
The Townhouse is only a few minutes' walk from the hustle of Glastonbury's busy town centre full of unusual shops, churches, historic buildings and varied cafes and bars. The house has far reaching views of Glastonbury town and the Mendip Hills beyond.
The Glastonbury Townhouse is 2 miles from Street and the Clarkes Outlets Village and 3 miles from the various nature reserves on the Somerset levels.
We are 28 miles South of Bristol and Bath, 20 miles from Bristol International airport and within easy reach of Stonehenge, Yeovilton Airbase and other historic places of interest. The Glastonbury Townhouse can be used as a base for exploring the Isles of Avalon, Somerset Peat Levels, Exmoor (Lorna Doone country), the North Somerset Coast and large parts of the county of Dorset.
Our visitors tell us that our proximity to Bristol Airport, Bath, the bath and west showground, Shepton Mallet, Frome, Wells, Street, and Yeovil is a key part of their decision to make their stay with us in Glastonbury. Of course we also have guests who visit specifically for the Glastonbury Festival, Glastonbury Extravaganza and the famous Glastonbury Carnival.
We offer a personal service with a focus on your comfort at all times. Our rooms have all the facilities you would expect of a large hotel chain with that extra special personal touch and we never overbook! If you like comfort - The Townhouse is the place for you. We have a relaxed friendly approach however we respect your privacy at all times. We pride ourselves on the number of visitors who return to us time and again. Our hospitality has been well appreciated by many visitors old and new and we are always available to offer unbiased advice.
Unfortunately the Glastonbury Townhouse is not suitable for any person under the age of 12.
We have a convenient car park to the front of the property and a large south facing Traditional English Country Garden for guests to enjoy the many beautiful Somerset sunsets. Our garden provides privacy and space - please do feel free to use the garden and courtyard in the evenings and after breakfast.
Bedrooms
We have four delightful rooms individually decorated with quality furniture and beds. They have all the facilities you will require to make your stay totally relaxing including tea and coffee making facilities with fresh fruit and biscuits in each room together with television with freeview, wireless internet access and clock radios. Our fresh white bed linen is laundered on-site to our high specifications and dried in the fresh Somerset air ensuring you have a totally good night's rest.
Prices
At The Townhouse we pride ourselves on quality and high standards of service whilst offering good value for money. We may not always be the least expensive accommodation in the area however we endeavour to keep our charges as low as possible whilst maintaining our commitment to quality and the use of fair trade goods and organic products.
