| The Grounds Timber Hill provides a uniquely beautiful and peaceful valley setting, in mature and thoughtfully landscaped surroundings which achieved the David Bellamy Environmental Gold Award. Our residents have access to our fishing reservoir, well stocked with large carp and other coarse fish, where they can put their skills to the test or merely relax, while away the time and trust their luck. We are only 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive from the beach. You can walk to the beach and Coastal Path through Haroldston Woods. |
| Lodges These unique Red Cedarwood lodges originate from Canada where buildings of similar design and construction are occupied as permanent homes. Unlike so many timber buildings these lodges are built with solid, two inch thick Canadian Red Cedar walls which have approximately the same insulation value as cavity walling. The natural rich colour of the cedarwood gives the interior of the lodges a unique warm and cosy atmosphere. Accommodation comprises 3 bedrooms (sleeping up to 6 people), bathroom, airing cupboard, kitchen, sitting room and verandah. They are fully equipped and the quality of the furnishings, fittings and fixtures is of a high standard. Each lodge has a colour TV and there is a microwave in every kitchen for extra convenience. We pride ourselves on keeping Timber Hill as one of the foremost holiday venues, and as resident proprietors we are always available to help ensure your stay here is a happy one. There is adequate parking space. |
| Getting to Us 1. Take the A40 from Carmarthen or Fishguard to Haverfordwest. 2. Continue through Haverfordwest town centre, taking the road for Broad Haven (B4341). 3. Continue for approximately 3 miles. Look for a brown tourist sign 'Timber Hill Holiday Lodges' and follow further brown signs to Timber Hill. |
