Leigh and Kevin welcome you to The Vines, a family run bed and breakfast set in the quiet village of Great Cressingham, Norfolk.

This beautiful cottage is Grade II listed, and originally served as a Timber framed Hall house back in the 15th Century. It is now a delightful place to stay for your visit to our handsome county, whether you are here on holiday or on buisness.

Great Cressingham is an unspoilt village on the edge of Breckland. It has an excellent village pub and is a superb base for touring, walking, bird-watching, cycling, fishing or simply a restful break from the world. It boasts outstanding fishing opportunities at the local lakes, brimming with potential catches!

Feel the warmth of a friendly log fire on a crisp winters morning, crackling on the open heath of our guest dining room, which is indicative of its 15th century origins, boasting fine wooden beams a welcoming setting to enjoy a traditionally cooked breakfast. The cost log fire is also complimented by central heating provided throughout the building, keeping any autumnal or winter chills at bay.

Breakfast has a full a la carte menu featuring a choice of either English or continental cuisine. Special and vegetarian diets can be catered for and of course everything is freshly cooked to order.

We offer our clients the best of homely comforts, including beds that are invitingly snug and warm and beautifully decorated rooms that are all en suite. A full list of the facilities can be found on our website.

Peddars Way is only a mile away and visitors use this bridleway for walking, pony trekking or mountain biking. There is local stabling and a paddock for your horse or you can hire a bike by the day or week, delivered to The Vines! You just have gentle strolls or go right round the Coastal Path, which takes several days.
