Welcome to The Old School House Located in three acres of a quiet corner of North Bedfordshire , The Old School House is the perfect location for business or pleasure. The house is situated some 6 miles equidistant from the county town of Bedford, the historic town of Kimbolton and the A1 link at St Neots. With Cambridge , Milton Keynes and Northampton only a little further away the Old School House is the ideal place to stay.  |
| There are fast train services from both Bedford and St Neots to London. 'Our guests can choose between The Garden Suite and The School Room'  The Garden Suite consists of a light and airy double bedroom, sitting room and en-suite shower and toilet. On the ground floor, it has its own private entrance overlooking the garden and paddocks beyond. A patio area is located outside the french doors from the sitting room, this leads to the shared gardens.The attractively furnished sitting room has a dining area where breakfast is served each morning. Breakfast is also served on the patio if the English weather is kind! A cot is available for babes in arms.  The Schoolroom is a pretty twin bedded room on the first floor which benefits from catching all the morning sun. The private bathroom and toilet with shower over the bath are located next to the room. Breakfast is served in the warm and welcoming breakfast room downstairs |
| Accommodation Overview:- Both rooms have colour TV, radio/alarm clock, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and central heating. Each room has a large selection of books and magazines together with various board games and a fully up to date local information folder. A delicious and varied breakfast, sourced from local suppliers wherever possible, is cooked to order. The Old School House is fortunate to be located in an area where there are several restaurants and good pubs which offer meals in the evenings. Again a list is of these is located in both rooms. There is off road secure parking and a lockable cycle store. A boot room and drying area is also available for walkers and cyclists. By prior arrangement we can also offer stabling for up to two horses in our own stable block. The Old School House is a non-smoking establishment and regretfully is normally unable to accommodate pets. |
