A Traditional 19th Century Coaching House The Kings Arms dates back to c 1840 when it looked like a coaching inn, it was then extended in the 1920's and stands as it is today. The present town of Brentford was created in 1875, formed from three district settlements, slightly different when back in 1445 King Henry VI held venue for a Chapter of the Garter in the market place. Today, many people know the Kings Arms as a great pub whose beer and lunchtime food are justly celebrated. But few perhaps know that it offers superb accommodation too, with the option of a large and satisfying breakfast.

The Best of 20th Century Comfort and Style The rooms have been newly restored and refurbished. The decoration is quiet and tasteful. Every room has en-suite bathroom, a colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The Kings Arms is in close proximity to the famous Kew Gardens, Richmond and it's famous park and theatre and Syon Park, our guests will find ample parking in our car park. For those without cars, Brentford is well served by public transport (a train to Waterloo takes only 15 minutes and 10 minutes to Heathrow). If you do not want to go into Central London, you can spend time in nearby Richmond or Ealing.

And a Reminder of 19th Century Prices! If you are surprised by all that the Kings Arms offers, we hope you will be equally surprised by how low our prices are too. You could of course find a similar standard of accommodation, but only a few hotels in the area could provide it - and you would probably have to pay double for the privilege. Or select a smaller hotel, one that matched our tariff. But that means you would have to sacrifice some of The Kings Arms comfort and all of it's friendly atmosphere. Remember, if you are ever in the area we would be delighted to see you for a drink and a chat. Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, office parties. You may wish to provide your own food or we can do the catering for you.
