The hotel has seventy four tastefully decorated guest bedrooms. Those in the main house are spacious and equipped with comfortable beds, private bathroom with shower and guest toiletries, colour television, radio, hairdryer, trouser press, tea and coffee making try with biscuits and direct dial telephone. Most rooms have a spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding fells or overlook the beautiful gardens and walkways in the grounds. For that special occasion, our deluxe rooms with four poster or canopies beds and sitting areas are a must.

Eight further executive rooms are housed in the old Keswick Station building adjacent to the hotel. Here you will find large, luxuriously furnished rooms with all the facilities of the main house but with the additional comforts of a toweling dressing gown, welcome tray and iron and board.

The Lonsdale restaurant is open daily for a Cumbrian breakfast and table d'hote dinner and our brigade of talented chefs, some with over ten year's experience, delight in preparing daily menus with the emphasis on simple yet flavoursome dishes using local produce wherever possible.

For the adventurous, Derwent Water offers a variety of water sports and numerous walks and mountain bike trails begin from its shores.
