Banff and Buchan is one of Scotland's best golfing areas, challenging golfers of all standards and interests. The area has approximately 30 courses within 45 minutes drive of Banff, close to the Gables we have manicured park land courses, seaside links and cliff top parkland courses. The Gables offers a base from which to experience the unhurried pace of life…. A dram at supper or a tour of the fascinating distilleries in the area on the famous Whisky trail. Explore the numerous visitor centres in the area and the unique Castle Trail with its abundance of beautiful castles, some dating back to the 16th century and all steeped in local history.
