- There are many restaurants, Inns, and gastro pubs in the near area.
- The Croft is less than a mile from the Ridgeway path, so a delight for walkers and for cyclists the Phoenix Trail can be found, between Chinnor and Princes Risborough, this trail goes into Thame which is a delightful town full of interesting and individual shops.

- The Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway is at the bottom of the hill and will delight any child, or grown up who remembers with nostalgia the era of steam. Thomas the Tank Engine appears for the young ones (please check the website Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railways for dates).
- Bicester Village Retail Outlet Stores is a quick trip up the M40.
