Dating from 1680, the Black Bull is Reeth's oldest surviving inn. Overlooking the village's expansive green, this old hostelry provides quality accommodation and a wide variety of foods ranging from bar snacks to our very popular Sunday carvery.

A fine selection of real ales and quality wines are offered in our traditional bar whilst regular live music and special events will help to liven up your stay.

The majority of our accommodation has spectacular views down beautiful Swaledale towards Marrick Priory and the fine fishing river reputed to be the fastest flowing in England.

The Black Bull is the perfect base for your walking holiday, situated on the Coast to Coast footpath, the Inn Way and within easy driving distance of both the Lake District and the North Yorks Moors.

Visit the historic castles of Richmond, Castle Bolton and Jervaulx Abbey.

Travel west over Tail Brig to the market town of Kirby Stephen, south over the Buttertubs Pass to Hawes or North over the Stang to Barnard Castle.
