Sychnant Pass House, Conwy

The house is run very much as a home that takes guests and where you will find all the facilities of a good country house hotel, without any stuffiness.

We would also like to point out that we hold a wedding license.

We have a restaurant which is open to non residents and residents alike where we cater for all tastes. We enjoy cooking and even bake our own soda bread, the recipe is available for any who want to give it a go.

We are also please to announce that our chef, Damien Stanley was awarded a coverted AA Rosette.

The are is one of rural beauty, serenity, with unfenced roads, wandering sheep and roaming wild ponies.

It is a haven for walkers with the North Wales Coastal path just a stroll away. Locally the amenities are too numerous to mention; golf; sailing; paragliding, and horse riding which can make that trip to the top of the hill a little easier.

If you would like something less strenuous the north Wales theatre offers many shows, concerts etc. depending on the season. For children there are excellent local beaches, several to choose from, 10 pin bowling and cinemas for rainy days (not that we get any !!!!!!!)

Conwy Castle, the Elizabethan manor house, Penrhyn Castle, Bodnant gardens and the many Little Stream Trains of Wales are but a few of the treats awaiting you a short journey away from your base at Sychnant Pass House.

Llandudno is a classic example of a Victorian seaside town. With its crescent and promenade, it's a lovely genteel shopping town. A very short drive will find you in the heart of the Snowdonia mountains, Betws-y-Coed, Beddgelert with its wonderful legend and majesticSnowdon itself, with its rack and pinion railway that takes you to the top of the world in Wales. Chester is only 40 minutes, Holyhead and the Irish ferries just over half an hour for those day trips to Dublin.
