Sunnybank lies in the heart of 'Summer Wine' country being Ľ mile from the centre of Holmfirth on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
A late Georgian/early Victorian detached residence set in two acres of mature wooded gardens with ample off road parking.

Next door is St John's Church which is the final resting place for Bill Owen, the much loved 'Compo' character. We are ideally positioned for walkers, cyclists, sightseers and those on business, affording top quality comfort in pleasant surroundings. Within walking distance, in Holmfirth, are many good pubs, bars and restaurants and only a short drive away are many excellent pub restaurants. There is the old Picturedrome cinema, which is an excellent venue for some top quality performances from the likes of Ocean Colour Scene, Joan Armatrading, Steve Harley, and many more.

Cosy, comfortable and quiet

Awarded 5 stars GOLD by the English Tourist Board for the level of service and quality of the accommodation, each room offers tea and coffee making facilities, mineral water, hair dryers, crisp linen, top of the range pillows and TV.
The Valley View Bedroom shown here is a large and beautiful room and would be more than a match for any 4/5 star hotel room. The two windows look out over the gardens and valley and consequently receive the best of the Sun all day. A super-king size bed that can be split into two singles will make sure your stay is luxurious and comfortable. The adjoining Bathroom is marble throughout, has a walk in shower, a cast iron hip bath and all with high quality fittingsWe operate a non smoking policy throughout the house and we regret we are unable to take pets or children under eight years old (that's the children not the pets!)

Crisp linen and attention to detail

Breakfast is served in the oak panelled dining room with an open fire and wonderful bay window views across the valley.
We use local produce wherever possible, from Hinchcliffes, the top award winning butchers and farm shop, to the delicious honey from our neighbour's own hives.
