Strathmore, our home is a delightful family and pet friendly. Licensed Guest House, decorated to the very highest of standards. Offering 8 individually designed en-suite bedrooms a comfortable lounge bar with free Wi-Fi to all residents, and secluded Terraced Gardens to the rear of the property. Strathmore is situated close to both the award winning, pet friendly Bicclescombe Park and the Cairn Nature Reserve, yet only a 10 minute stroll from both the Town Centre and Sea Front.

Each of our 8 individually designed bedrooms come with either en-suite bath or shower and all have remote control TV, hairdryer, alarm clock as well as a hospitality tray, and many other little extras. The more spacious premier rooms also have trouser-press, DVD player and one has balcony with table and chairs.

Drinks are served in our cosy lounge bar throughout the day and evening so why not drop in for a drink and a chat or if the weather permits then why not sit back and relax in our well appointed terraced garden to the rear of the Guest House, where you will find a selection of table and chairs.

Breakfast is served in our elegant dining room, between the hours of 8:00 - 9:30 am (earlier or later by prior arrangement) and includes a large selection of cereals, fruit juices and yoghurts as well as a choice of Full English, Vegetarian or Kippers all freshly cooked to order.

This is wonderful walking country and Ilfracombe is within easy access to 20 miles of Heritage Coast, known for its outstanding beauty. Much of this stunning shoreline with its hidden coves and wide expanse of golden sandy beaches, as well as the beautiful Exmoor countryside are still described in the stories of Lorna Doone and Tarka the Otter
Ilfracombe is situated within an easy hours drive of Clovelly. Lynton and Lynmouth, Porlock, the historic market town of Barnstaple, while the wonderful surfing beaches of both Woolacombe, Saunton Sands and Croyde, and within an easy 5-10 minute drive away.
