St Ursula Guest House

St Ursula is a large detached family residence built during the mid-thirties and extended and tastefully modernized during 1982. Only one mile from the sea, we are a convenient base for visits to the New Forest, Pool, Bournemouth and Christchurch, Dorchester, Salisbury, Winchester, Southampton and Portsmouth only one hour away by rail or road. All this just two hours by fast train from London to New Milton. We are a professional family offering a friendly and relaxed atmosphere - a home from home. We are happy to meet you from the railway station, discuss travel plans, routes and introduce guests to local amenities. The town centre is just five minutes walk.

We offer a high standard of comfortable accommodation, with full central heating. All bedrooms have excellent beds, most are en-suite, with a choice of twin, double, family and single. All have beverage facilities. The ground floor suite is particularly designed for those with more physical needs and is wheelchair friendly: no steps, wheel in shower and toilet and level access from off road parking. National Accessibility Scheme Grade 1. Our comfortable lounge has television, as do bedrooms, video books, magazines and games. There are two dining rooms. Well behaved dogs are welcome - as are children. We have a cot and high chair. Smoking is not permitted within, but we have an attractive garden where you can. How to get to us….. Travelling south on M3 exit M27 West and Bournemouth. Continue on to A31, or exit New Forest and Lyndhurst. If on A31 exit Emery Down and avoid Lyndhurst or continue to Pickets Post, Burley exit by Shell garage. Rejoin A35 at Holmesley Tea Rooms, then exit B3058 New Milton. After four miles, right at town centre lights. Pass Police Station and then right into Hobart Road, by the Baptist Church. Westbound from Southampton to Lyndhurst on A35. Join A337 for Lymington or stay on Bournemouth A35 for New Milton B3058. From Lymington stay on A337 to New Milton. After six miles pass Renault garage and cross traffic lights. Exit right at first T Junction into Old Milton Road and first left into Hobart Road. From West via Dorchester and Poole, travel to Christchurch and on A337 towards Highcliffe and Lymington. Left at T-Junction after Vauxhall garage and Wheatsheaf Pub into Old Milton Road, New Milton and then first left into Hobart Road. From Salisbury on A338 to Ringwood and onto Christchurch. Left when you join bypass and then on through Highcliffe to New Milton on A337. If in travel difficulties please give us a right on 01452 613515 and we will do all that we can to guide you to us!
