Accommodation Just a short distance form the M74 motorway, the Shawlands Hotel and Travel Lodge is in a central position for travel throughout Scotland, making it the ideal base for both tourist and weary business traveller. The Travel Lodge offers a high standard of accommodation at an affordable price. The Lodge has 21 rooms, all comfortable and tastefully decorated, offering facilities which include private en suite bathrooms with heated towel rails, SKY television, direct dial telephones and tea or coffee making facilities. The Lodge also has specially adapted rooms for disabled visitors and non smoking rooms are available on request. A friendly receptionist is always on hand to offer assistance and advice and provide information about local attractions and places of interest.

Lounge and Bar The Hotel contains two well stocked bars. The Public Bar offers a relaxed and informal atmosphere with an open log fire and a warm welcome to all. It is a traditional meeting place where friendliness and good conversation are always plentiful. The Lounge Bar offers traditional décor and an informal ambience making it ideal for a quiet meal or relaxing drink with friends.

Restaurant The Hotel's Lewis Restaurant has a capacity for approximately 30 guests and offers a high standard of mouth watering dishes from the extensive and varied menu. A small private room, it is ideally suited for those personal and intimate family occasions.

Function Suite A purpose built, self contained function room, it offersguests both comfort and privacy. The Suite can cater comfortablyfor around 90 guests and offers ideal surroundings for a wide variety of occasions. From weddings to birthday parties, conferences to christenings, all functions will be arranged and conducted by both management and staff with professionalism, flair and that all, important personal touch.The facilities are available seven days a week and can be used both during the day and in the evenings.
