Welcome
The Royal Hotel was built around 1813 and still maintains much of its original features and character. It is situated in the village of Dungworth in the 'Vale of Bradford' which is found in the North-West of Sheffield on the edge of the Peak District.
Sheffield City centre is approximately 6 miles away (20 minutes drive) making The Royal Hotel and ideal place for people visiting the area but who don't wan to stay in the city.
The present owners, Dave and Joanne Jubb and Dave and Linda Lambert have been at The Royal Hotel since March 1999 and offer a friendly welcoming atmosphere to all their customers.
Activities
There are many activities within the area including local walks for both novice ramblers and experienced hikers; local fishing and corporate clay shooting, Theatres, concerts, shopping at Meadowhall and national sporting events like snooker.
Food and Drink
There is a good selection of beers, including Tetley's Cask, Tetley's Smooth, Carlsburg larger, Stella larger, Magner and Strongbow cider plus a guest beer which changes regularly. Why not stay and eat from our menu of fine home made food - try one of our famous award winning pies.

At The Royal Hotel there is usually something going on, including pub quiz's and live music.

Breakfast Menu
The next morning, wake up to a Royal English Breakfast fit for a King or Queen. Each night before bed, select from a range of items for breakfast then hand the form in at the bar.
