Ray, Jan and Ryan Henderson welcome you to the Robertson Arms Hotel in Carnwath, South Lanarkshire. Ideally located in the Clyde valley our family run hotel offers you small village hospitality within easy reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The Robertson Arms Hotel is situated on the main road through Carnwath, opposite the Carnwath Golf Club 100 meters from the first tee. Three miles along the main road you reach Kaimes Golf Club. Making us an ideal location to base yourself for business or pleasure.
Carnwath is a conservation village set in the beautiful rolling hills of the Clyde Valley. A commuter village situated between Glasgow and Edinburgh both being approximately forty minutes drive away from the hotel. The hotel situated on the main street of Carnwath which was originally three cottages and still retains many original features. |  |
Accommodation
In the spring of 2006 our bedrooms were completely refurbished to a very high standard.
We have six room's available five double/twin rooms and one single.
All room's have en-suite's with showers. There are 20ins remote control colour TV's, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries.
All our rooms are non smoking.
There is also a resident's lounge to relax and unwind in.

Restaurant
The lounge bar and restaurant were completely refurbished in the autumn of 2007 and now locals and visitors alike enjoy the charming and comfortable surroundings.
For those of you who wish for the finer things in life why not enjoy a meal in our fine dining restaurant, and allow yourself to relax, with a glass of wine from our popular wine selection, in our comfortable and friendly surroundings. |  |
 | The 60 seater restaurant can cater for large and small functions, corporate functions, weddings, birthdays and funeral teas.
For wedding parties of around 50 guest's we can offer a complete package for more details ask for our wedding brochure.
All tables can be pre-booked and service begins at 5:30pm to 9pm Monday to Saturday and Sunday from 5.30pm to 8pm. |
Bistro
The Bistro has a warm and family friendly relaxed atmosphere. The wood burning stove in the bar creates a cosy area to sit and catch up over a drink or coffee.
During the summer months we are happy to serve the Bistro menu in the beer garden.
Upon arrival just place your food and drink order at the bar and sit back and relax as we prepare your meal. You will find a wide choice on the Bistro menu from a toasted sandwich to a sizzling T bone steak. Children can choose from their own menu.
The 50 seater bistro can also cater for large and small functions, corporate functions, weddings, birthdays and funeral teas. Open all day till 9pm Monday to Saturday and Sundays from 12pm to 8pm. |  |
Finding Us
From Glasgow follow the M8 to Bargeddie, take the A8 as far as Chapelhall then the A73 as far as Carluke.
Once at Carluke follow the signs or the A721 which will take you to Carnwath.
Journey time approx 45mins.
From Edinburgh follow the A702.
Just past Dolphinton turn right onto the A721 and follow the signs past New Biggin and then on to Carnwath.Journey time approx 45mins.
