| It is situated just 6 miles from Ashbourne and 7 miles from Derby City with its cathedral and museums. Ashbourne is a pretty Georgian market town situated close to Dovedale and famous (amongst other things) for its gingerbread shop. |
| There are many historic houses in the locality within easy reach - Kedleston, Hardwich, Tissington Hall, Chatsworth and Sudbury to name but a few. There are numerous lovely walks in the immediate area including the Bonnie Prince Charlie walk which is a waymarked route from Ashbourne to Derby. For those who like bike riding both the Tissington Trail and Carsington Water hire out bikes by the half and full day. |
| We have two rooms on offer. One twin-bedded room and one double. Both have en suite shower rooms and have colour television. |
| We have an elegant sitting room for you to relax in at the end of a busy day. There are plenty of eating establishments in the area which provide food in the evening- one is within walking distance of the house. |
