The attractive dining room seats up to 48 people with the new conservatory extention with separate disabled access seating 26 on its own. It is ideal for small weddings and private dinner parties and also has direct access to a patio area and lawns bordered by mature trees, shrubs and perennial borders.

Daily 'specials' are featured in addition to the a la carte menu, and you can enjoy either in the dining room or as a bar meal. A popular carvery is served on Friday nights and Sunday lunchtime.

All bedrooms have colour television, tea/coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone and private facilities. There's even a four poster bed for that special occasion or honeymoon (we're only 15 minutes from Gretna Green after all!)

Food features high on the list of reasons to frequent the Ravenshill. Hardly surprising with an excellent chef as one of the proprietors, and a keen gardener the other. Norman and Sheila Tindal have created a superb, cosy, family run hotel since acquiring the attractive eight bedroomed sandstone building in 1980. The welcoming lounge features a log fire and there's a real ale on draught.

The real benefit of a chef/proprietor - Norman has the accolade of cooking 'probably the best steaks in the region', and his vegetarian dishes (often prepared with fresh produce from the garden) are a tasty alternative.

2 night Dinner Bed and Breakfast Break, any two nights Sunday to Thursday - £95.00. Additional nights £47.50 per night.

3 night Weekend Break, Bed and Breakfast - £105.00
4 night Break, Bed and Breakfast monday to Thursday - £130.00
Prices are per person sharing a double or twin bedded room.

In addition we offer short break group rates to Golfers, Wedding parties etc. Prices on application.

All bedrooms are upstairs, non-smoking, have colour television, radio alarms, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, individually controlled heating, and direct dial telephone. Rooms are available from 2pm, if you expect to arrive after 8.00pm, or if you would like to arrive earlier please let us know when booking.

Accommodation bookings should be accompanied with a deposit of £20.00 per night which is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation, or Credit card details to guarantee the deposit in the event of a cancellation. Rooms cancelled at less than 48 hours notice are liable for the full amount of the reserved accommodation for the first night. The above rates include V.A.T.
