Directions

From Salisbury - Head out on the A354 towards Blandford.
Follow the A354 until you reach Tarrant Hinton. Turn left and follow the country road for one mile into Tarrant Launceston. It is the first cottage on your right after the farm.

There are many beautiful areas for walking in Dorset and you are welcome to walk around the farm on which the cottage is situated. The coast & a host of beaches are only a 30 minute drive away. The area also has numerous good restaurants and pubs. The closest, the Langton Arms, is less than half a mile away. It is a thriving village pub well known for its bar meals and beer. A walk there takes you through the picturesque village and over the ford.
