![]() Glen Isla is the most westerly of the lovely Glens of Angus. The gateway to the Glens is Kirriemuir, a small town best known as the childhood home of J M Barrie, creator of Peter Pan. A few miles from Kirrie is Glamis Castle where the Queen Mother lived as a child and Princess Margaret was born. It is open during the summer months to the public. For the keen bird watcher there is an RSPB reserve at Loch Kinnordy. Purgavie Farm is an ideal base for touring, hillwalking, fishing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing and pony trekking. |
![]() Once in Kirriemuir take the B951 Glen Isla road and travel for 6 miles. Purgavie Farm is signposted at the roadside. We look forward to meeting you. |
