Welcome
We are situated on the edge of the lovely village of Upwey, (with its ancient wishing well). On a very quiet road with ample off-road parking, four miles from Dorchester and Weymouth and picturesque Abbotsbury. We are very near the Inner South West Coast Path and surrounded by the "Wey Valley Walks" and approximately four miles from the sea.
Our accommodation consists of one twin bedded and one double room (both en suite) and one double with private bathroom. Children of all ages are very welcome.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served at any time you request, in our dining room overlooking the garden (you may spot Picasso, our peacock!)Fruit Juices.
Cereals or Porridge Fruit Compote, Fresh Fruit, Yogurt.
Continental Breakfast (Croissant, Danish Pastries, Rolls) or Cooked Breakfast - any combination of the following;- Egg - Fried, Poached, Scrambled or Boiled. (All our eggs come from Friar Waddon free range farm) Bacon, Sausage, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Baked Beans. (All our sausages and Bacon are locally produced, and come from traditionally reared stock.)

There is lots to see and do in Dorset:
Jubilee Trail runs from Forde Abbey on the Somerset border in the west, across Dorset to Bokerley Dyke in the north-east on the Hampshire Border
Jurassic Coast The Dorset and East Devon Coast World Heritage Site is England's first natural World Heritage Site. It covers 95 miles of truly stunning coastline from East Devon to Dorset.

South West Coast Path, NATIONAL TRAIL The South West Coast Path starts at Minehead in Somerset and runs along the part of the Somerset Bristol Channel coast, across North Devon, right round Cornwall, then along the South Devon and Dorset coasts to Poole Harbour.
Monument to Vice-Admiral Hardy - The monument (very close to Pump Cottage) was erected in memory of Vice Admiral Sir Thomas Masterman Hardy of HMS Victory.
