Roger and Brenda Lord are looking forward to welcoming you to Earls Hall Farm. Pond House is a redbrick, Victorian farmhouse, with a large garden consisting of herbaceous borders, a large pond and woodland area where you are welcome to wander and relax. The house is situated in the centre of our 400-acre family run farm, which is part of a farming business of over 1200 acres.

The farm is predominately arable, growing combinable crops and potatoes. Beef cattle are fattened in the winter, sheep may be grazing the reservoir banks in the summer and we supply farm fresh turkeys at Christmas. Fly-fishing is available on the reservoir and there are several footpaths around the farm, which take in woodland and ponds. Course fishing, clay pigeon shooting, riding and golf are available locally.

We are approximately 2 miles from the coast either through the historic village of St Osyth, www.stosyth.gov.uk or head for the seafront of Clacton, a busy seaside town with good amenities. Other places to visit locally are the seaside towns of Frinton, Walton, Dovercourt and Harwich, Constable Country, Beth Chatto's garden, Historic Colchester and Colchester Zoo.

There are several good local pubs and eateries, which serve evening meals. A full English Breakfast is served with homemade marmalade and preserves or if you prefer a Continental style breakfast is available.
