Pickwick Lodge Farm, Chippenham, Front of Farm

Pickwick Lodge is a working farm, surrounded by fields of wheat and barley. Guests are welcome to wander around and see the cattle, sheep and ponies. The farm has many beautiful walks nearby, where you will often see pheasant, rabbit and the occasional fox.

The farmhouse is a picturesque Grade II Listed Building, built c. 1650 and extended in Victorian times.

It is said that Charles Dickens was so inspired by this beautiful Wiltshire village that he named his first successful novel after it, "The Pickwick Papers".
