   | Welcome to Penygawse and the lovely town of Llandovery. We have been working very hard over the last year to give you the traditional welcome that is expected from such a beautiful historical town. Lynne and Allan Stather bought the premises in March 2004. The building is a grade II listed building built in 1725 and was host to a drapery store and most recently a butchery. The building was in a run down state when bought and much effort and expense has been put into returning the 9-bedroom property to its original splendour. The Victorian tea room was opened on the 27th of March 2005 with great response from tourists and locals. The Guest House has 7 rooms all of which are en-suite, with breakfast provided in the tea rooms. The building in non-smoking throughout!
