The Parks Guest House is a pretty Georgian house of great charm and character offering quality bed and breakfast accommodation.

Richard and Jackie assure you of a warm welcome to their house where great emphasis is placed upon providing comfortable, homely and immaculate non smoking accommodation.

All bedrooms are spacious, have en-suite facilities and are very well appointed. There are a mixture of double, twin and family rooms, including a ground floor family suite (can also be used as a double or twin) and a very large "premium" twin/double (super kingsize bed) room with its own lounge area.

Every effort is made to provide a comfortable environment within the house at all times. There is central heating throughout to keep it warm during colder times and during the warmer months you will find the house bright and airy.

The house also has a cosy lounge and a charming dining room to enjoy an excellent and varied breakfast to suit all.

Outside there is a very pleasant garden and patio area for guests to use and enjoy as well as a large enclosed car park.

The house is situated in an ideal location, being just a couple of minutes walk from the picturesque seaside resort of Minehead and Exmoor National Park.

From the house there is direct access by footpath or road to the magnificent North Hill, which towers over the town; to the older parts of Minehead where thatched cottages and narrow alleyways can be found; to the beautiful Exmoor National Park and South West Coastal Path. It is also within easy walking distance of the sea front, harbour, gardens and the West Somerset Steam Railway.Altogether it offers an ideal base for exploring and enjoying this wonderful area.

Richard and Jackie also provide many other facilities to make their guests stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible with great emphasis placed on flexibility and general helpfulness.

Whilst evening meals are not provided there are numerous restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance providing a variety of choice and good value.

Minehead, "The Gateway to Exmoor" is the ideal place for a perfect holiday whether you are seeking peace and quiet, relaxation or an active holiday.

Minehead is superbly set between the glorious Exmoor National Park and the coast. It is a town of ageless charm with an interesting and compact shopping area, lovely parks and gardens, a large sandy beach and a quaint harbour. The area is a walker's paradise with many excellent countryside and coastal walks. The South West Coastal Path actually starts or finishes at Minehead.

Minehead has a wide range of cultural, entertainment, sports and family facilities/attractions. It is also the headquarters of the West Somerset Steam Railway.

Nearby is the medieval village of Dunster as well as many other quaint country and coastal villages. The whole of Exmoor and surrounding area, including Lynton and Lynmouth, is within easy driving distance of Minehead, making it an excellent base to explore and enjoy this wonderful part of the country.
