Old Station HouseStation Drive, Broadway, WR12 7DF Telephone: 01386 852659 Fax: 01386 852891 English Tourism Council 4 Stars - Silver Award for Excellence
The Station Master's House was built at the end of the 19th Century using traditional Cotswold Stone. Broadway was then a halt on the picturesque railway line running from Stratford upon Avon to Cheltenham. In 1962 the line was closed and the Station Master's house was sold and the eventually became a Guest House. The rail track was removed but the bed remains and has become a popular walk and a haven for wild life.

The beautiful Cotswold village of Broadway is renowned for its mellow, honey coloured Elizabethan houses. Its broad main street, once a part of the coaching route from Worcester to London, runs down the Cotswold Scarp into the Vale of Evesham. It now lies astride the long distancewalk known as "The Cotswold Way". Broadway, as well as being a walking centre, is ideally situated for visiting Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, the Malvern Hills, the beautiful villages of the North Cotswolds and many gardens, both private and National Trust, which abound in this area. |

The Old Station House is approached by a private drive shaded by ranks of Scots pines dating from the construction of the railway. The situation is quiet and secluded yet only 10 minutes level walk from the many pubs and restaurants in the centre of Broadway.

All our rooms are en-suite with television, fridges, hairdryers and beverage facilities.
We have ample safe parking well away from the road. The grounds extend to an acre and our guests are invited to use the large garden and orchard.
The comfortable guests' lounge overlooks the front garden and has an open fire for chilly Winter evenings. A substantial breakfast is served in the light and airy dining room, which also looks out onto the garden. |
