Originally a coaching inn where stage coaches could change horses for the challenging climb up Rose Hill, the Old Rose and Crown Hotel in Birmingham and Worcestershire is steeped in history.
Situated in Lickey, Birmingham, the building was originally a court house that would have sentenced the highway robbers (over 300 years ago during Dick Turpins time) to be hung on the Gibb on Lickey Hill.
Today The Old Rose and Crown Hotel is set in 400 acres of the Lickey Hills Park offers excellent accommodation meetings and events facilities and is the perfect Wedding and Banqueting venue. |
The River Arrow is channelled into a series of water falls and pools in the grounds of the hotel; the River Arrow joins the Avon down the road in Cofton. This provides the perfect back drop for Wedding photographs.
