It's village location means that it is within easy reach of all local amenities, including three pubs, a bistro, shops/post office and an award-winning creamery. The Quantock Hills are on the doorstep making this the ideal location for walking, cycling, sightseeing and, of course, relaxing.

The Old Cider House was built in 1910 and produced local cider until the 1960s. Recently converted into a 4 star guesthouse with five en suite rooms. The proprietors, Ian and Lynne, are enthusiastic about producing good home cooking, using seasonal and local ingredients wherever possible. Meat comes from the local butcher and a local farm. They grow as many of their own vegetables as possible in the summer and keep organically fed hens for fresh eggs. The Old Cider House
