| A warm welcome awaits you at Oak House. Oak House is located a few minutes walk from the centre of historic Modbury, overlooking beautiful countryside. Modbury is the best of both worlds-located in the beautiful South Hams and still a thriving community with shops, pubs, and restaurants. In 2007 Modbury became the first plastic bag free town in England and has led the way in reducing the environmental impact of these bags. Modbury is about ten miles from Plymouth and is located between Dartmoor to the north and the beautiful beaches and rugged coastline to the south.. |

| Oak House is a special place to stay with its beautiful oak beams and unusual styling. A delicious breakfast is served in lovely surroundings. A unique sitting area for guests overlooks the town nestled in rolling hills. |

The bedrooms are bright rooms with their own en suite facilities.
When the sun is shining, guests are invited to relax in the garden and enjoy the sunshine and lovely views.
We look forward to welcoming you to Oak House. |
How to Find Us
From the A38 towards Plymouth, take the Modbury turn off. At the top of the slip road turn left. Go over crossroad and follow this road about four miles until it takes you down into the centre of Modbury (post office opposite corner). Turn left onto the A379 towards Kingsbridge. The road bears around to the right to leave Modbury. Take the 1st left, Scalders Lane, (D&D Motors/Walters Garage on corner). Follow this road up the hill; Oak House is about two thirds of the way up the hill past the new homes. It is a granite fronted house on the road. Parking is available at the front of the house. |
