Completely powered by two large water tanks which let out just enough water to make the highest car heavy enough to move both cars along the track. The railway was given to the twin towns by Sir George Newnes a wealthy newspaper publisher. The train runs on request and operating times vary according to season, but approximately from 9am until dusk. | ![]() |
