Is comfortable, clean and affordable accommodation where you will find a friendly welcome. It is situated in a quiet location backing onto woodland. There are 6 letting rooms between 2 properties 3 rooms being in the main house and 3 in the ground floor flat next to the main house. There is parking space for 5 cars on the drive and also street parking. We pride ourselves in offering a quality service at a value for money price.
All rooms have colour TV's.
Tea and coffee are provided in the kitchen. The kitchen can also be used for self catering breakfasts, preparing packed lunches and for light cooking in the evenings. There is allocated fridge and cupboard space and freezer space on request.
There is free wi-fi internet access.
There is an iron and ironing board for your use and also hairdryers on request.
By law it is a no smoking household, but you may step outside into the lovely gardens where there are seats you may use while you smoke. The main house has a car port for use when it is raining and the flat has a smoking shelter.
The costs for staying at Mount Joy are from £30 single, £45 twin, £60 triple. This price is room only as we do not do breakfasts anymore.
For longer stay guests, we also have some rooms that go for a weekly rate of £140. Please ask for further details.
All rooms need to be booked before arriving and check in time is between 4pm and 10pm.
Credit/debit card details are requested to secure all bookings.
We are close to the famous Bluewater Shopping Centre. (Not to be missed)
