Mendip House is a Victorian townhouse situated within ten minutes walk to the centre of the beautiful City of Wells. Vanessa, who looks after the family run bed and breakfast was born and bred in the hotel trade. With the help of her husband, she ensures each guest has a warm welcome and comfortable stay. It is hoped that guests leave feeling relaxed and well rested. Breakfast is served in the dining room, where guests may choose from a buffet of apple/orange juice, cereal, yoghurt and fruit. Followed by a full English breakfast or maybe scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. This is served with tea/coffee and toast. |
| Prices Our room rates are from £27.00 (Low Season) per person per night based on two people sharing a room. Prices include a full English breakfast. Please enquire about our family rates as these vary depending on age and number of children. When making a reservation please call 01749 679719. We ask that guests send us a deposit as confirmation of the booking. If a guest should need to cancel the booking within one week of the arrival date the deposit is non refundable, unless we are able to re-let the room again. | Bedrooms All rooms have en-suite facilities. They are pleasantly furnished and decorated. Each room has a colour television, tea/coffee tray, hairdryer and luggage rack. A travel cot and high chair are available upon request.

| Directions From Bath/Bristol A39 On entering Wells, get into the right hand lane, proceed along the bypass (Mounterey Road) at the sixth set of lights continue straight ahead onto the Cheddar Road A371. Mendip House is 100 yards further along on your right. From Glastonbury A39 On entering Wells, take the first exit at the roundabout into Strawberry Way. Continue straight ahead at the crossroads. At the next set of lights turn left onto the A371 Cheddar Road. Mendip House is 100 yards further along on your right. From Shepton Mallet A371 On entering Wells, take the second exit at the roundabout into Strawberry Way. Proceed straight ahead at the crossroads.
