| We pride ourselves in the cleanliness and the comfort of our guests bedrooms, some rooms have en suite facilities, six of them have excellent sea views. TV and tea/coffee making facilities and shaver points are available in all rooms. The whole Hotel enjoys the benefit of central heating. |  |

We would like to mention here that Clacton has plenty of shops in the town centre and would certainly be adequate for most people's needs, but for the ultimate shopping experience you only need to travel a short distance to the Clacton Common Shopping Village.Here you can pick up bargains galore, you can obtain top brand name at knock down prices and you have a choice of fifty top stores, most people like bargains especially when they have a designer label on them.
For people who like walking, the gardens along the promenade are well kept at all times, I give credit to the Council for that, we also have a pleasant lawn and flower beds in front of the Hotel, if you find it difficult to walk too far. "Don't worry." myself, or one of our staff will arrange comfortable chairs for you on the front lawn, the beaches are a golden coloured sand and very pleasant, if you do like to swim in the sea, this is the place for it.
If you like driving your car to view the countryside, you couldn't have chosen a better place. Constable country is not too far away, and many people visit that area for the scenic beauty. Essex is still a rural County and famous for it's seaside results.Gently rolling countryside, rivers and valleys, peaceful creeks and estuaries, with a scatter of picturesque villages and county towns, all in just a short distance from our Hotel.
Colchester is the oldest recorded town in England and it has plenty of historical interest, if you come to this part of the Country, Colchester is certainly worth a visit.
