Meare Manor was originally the summer residence for the Abbots of Glastonbury Abbey and is mentioned in the Exhibition at the Abbey.
 
Rebuilt in 1802 and fully renovated in 2001, Meare Manor is located in the heart of the Somerset countryside with easy access to:

Meare Manor offers a warm welcome into peaceful and comfortable surroundings.
The Abbot's and Pilgrim's Restaurants have a reputation for excellent food and fine wines; Modern English Cuisine, combining the best local produce and the finest international ingredients - fish, seafood, local meats, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.
All suites and bedrooms at Meare Manor include Tea/Coffee making facilities and colour TV. Ample parking and secure storage for Motor Bikes and Bicycles. Cots and baby equipment are also available. Please let us know your requirements at the time of booking.

Mendip Room - Family room or Honeymoon suite with four-poster bed, optional one and two single beds and en-suite bathroom.
Lancelot Suite - large bedroom with four-poster bed & single bed and en-suite bathroom. Additional beds can be provided
Lancelot 2 - Double room with ensuite shower. Can be combined with Lancelot to form a suite.
Merlins Room - King -size bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
Arthur 1 - King-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Can be combined with Arthur 2 to form a suite.
Arthur 2 - King-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Can be combined with Arthur 1 to form a suite.
Arthur 3 - King-size family bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Additional beds can be provided.
Guinevere's Room - Double bedroom with en-suite shower room.
Monks Room - Twin bedroom with en-suite shower room.

Weddings, Christenings and Family Celebrations
With outstanding cuisine, Meare Manor is the wedding destination for those looking for gourmet food, a get-away-from-it all atmosphere, attentive service and a warm welcome.
The secluded walled gardens at Meare Manor can provide the setting for a reception marquee and photography of your special occasion and our Bridal suite comes complete with champagne and flowers, for the newly weds.
We are happy to cater for parties from 10 to 50 guests, with a choice of buffet or sit-down meals to suit your requirements. Please call us for more information on how we can help with your special day.
