The Mary Rose is to be found in the heart of St Mary Cray, an ancient village conveniently located near the M20 just 5 minutes from the M25. There is a frequent, fast, railway service from St Mary Cray main-line station, taking just 25 minutes to Victoria in the heart of London.

This is the ideal location for visitors to the South East of England, close to London yet offering quick and easy access to the Motorway network. A perfect base for both tourists and business travellers.

The Hotel

This delightful 16th-century inn has been recently renovated and extended to provide modern, comfortable, hotel facilities while retaining its original charm.

There are forty-six rooms in all, ranging from some single rooms in the original building to modern single, double, triple and family rooms all with en-suite bathrooms. There are two delightful Bridal/VIP Suites, both with traditional four-poster beds.

The new courtyard, complete with medieval style minstrels' gallery provides apartments and motel style accommodation ideal for families and groups.

All bedrooms have direct-line telephones, tea and coffee making facilities and colour television.

This superb new function suite, complete with its own bar, can accommodate up to 120 persons seated. It is available for weddings, banquets, dinner-dances, private parties, club venues, business conferences and seminars.

Places of Interest

The County of Kent is justly called "The Garden of England" and boasts some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain. Within a few minutes drive of The Mary Rose you find picturesque villages like Eynsford and Shoreham and the famous orchards and hop fields of Kent. Within a few miles are ancient castles and stately homes: Leeds Castle, Knole Park, PenshurstPlace, Hever Castle and Sir Winston Churchill's home at Chartwell. To the East lie the ancient Medway towns with Rochester Castle, The Royal Dockyard Museum at Chatham and Charles Dicken's house. Towards London lies the historic borough of Greenwich with its magnificent park, the Royal Naval College, The Queen's House, the Royal Observatory and the famous Cutty Sark.
