It is a rambling, but cosy house, and the bedrooms are spacious and elegant, with the accent on homeliness, and with lovely views of the rolling Buckinghamshire countryside (our farm runs along the border between Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire). We accommodate up to 6 guests, either as single, twins or doubles. Your farmer host, Andrew, cooks a full English breakfast second to none including fresh farm eggs, local honey and organic wholemeal bread. The sunny dining room has French windows overlooking the garden, and is most conducive to lingering leisurely over fresh brewed coffee. |
| t h e a r e a The house is set on the edge of Poundon village (boasting 100 inhabitants), where tranquillity is ensured, but with easy access to Bicester (5 miles), an hours train ride to London, and only half an hour to Oxford, Banbury or Aylesbury. 20 minutes away is the breathtaking Waddesdon Manor, and Claydon House is a mere 10 minutes from us. |
