We offer bed & breakfast and pitches for camping and caravanning where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of Dorset countryside.
Personally managed by John & Lesley. Start your day with a "Luckford Breakfast" taken from our varied and flexible menu. You may prefer a hearty traditional farmhouse breakfast, or light continental fare. Fresh fruit salads, yoghurts, porridge and kippers are available too. We use fresh local produce where possible. Breakfast can be served in our conservatory, if preferred, and at a time to suit you. If you have friends staying at our camp site why not ask them to join us for breakfast? Accommodation is offered in large and spacious rooms with farmland views. Most have a private bathroom, or shower and all have colour television, radio and tea/coffee making facilities. They are tastefully decorated and well equipped making your stay peaceful and enjoyable. A ground floor room is available for guests who are less mobile.
On your arrival complementary refreshments including cake, or biscuits are offered. This is served either in our spacious conservatory, garden, or your room, if preferred.
A Luckford Wood guests are welcome to come and go as they please, returning whenever they wish to freshen up, just to relax, listen to music or read in the garden or conservatory.
Whether you are on holiday or business we will endevour to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Should you wish to bring your well behaved pets then please ask for details. We are open throughout the year and long term accommodation is available. |
 
World Heritage Coastline: has Dorset within its 95 miles of very impressive coastline, where you can walk, or just sit and view its magnificence.
With its Jurassic Coast Award there is so much to see and do:
- Lulworth Cove with its snorkeling, diving and seasonal boat trips.
- Durdle Door - renowned for its rock formations.
- The historic Lulworth Castle.
- Monkey World (as seen on TV)
- The Saxon walled town of Wareham.
- Corfe Castle with its steam railway to Swanage.
- Poole with its Boat trips around Poole Harbour including Brownsea island.
- Bovington Tank Museum.
- Seaside resorts of Swanage, Studland and Weymouth are within easy reach.
- For walkers there are many scenic walks in the Isle of Purbeck and surrounding areas.
- For the golfer there are many local golf courses.

How to find us: Luckford Wood House is in the village of East Stoke - traveling from Wareham on the A352, after approximately two miles turn left at the church in East Stoke, into Church Lane, over the manned level crossing and we are only a half mile on the right. For those coming from Wool travel approximately one mile then turn right at the church.
By Rail: You can terminate at either Wareham or Wool station which are both on the London to Weymouth line. Local taxis are normally available at both stations. |
