| Three well appointed bedrooms of individual character and décor all have full en suite facilities of bath, shower, w.c and wash basin. Thoughtful touches include brightly lit mirrors, convenient shaving sockets, plenty of available shelf space, steaming hot water, thick soft towels and shining ceramic tiles. Each bedroom has tea and coffee tray, complete with home-made biscuits, iron and ironing board, fridge with a little jug of milk, an ice compartment, shoe cleaning box, hairdryer, and other little touches like padded coat hangers to make you feel at home. Once on the A82 FOLLOW IT ALONG THE EDGE OF Loch Lomond to Tarbert, take the A83 through ARROCHAR, OVER THE 'Rest and Be Thankful' on to Inveraray and down Loch Fyne, passing Lochgilphead and Tarbert. Five miles (8km) south is the Ferry Terminal at Kennacraig. Once on the island, it's four or seventeen miles depending on port of arrival, to Kilmeny. Watch for the Kilmeny Farm signpost and follow the farm road up to the farmhouse. By Air: From Glasgow, using British Airways Express twice daily, Monday to Friday - morning flight only on Saturday. Flights operated by Loganair. By Bus: There is a connecting service to Kennacraig from Buchanan Street Bus Station in Glasgow. |
