Karden House Hotel is family owned and we pride ourselves on our warm, friendly welcome, with everyone being made equally at home whether staying for a night or a week. We offer a small discount for senior citizens, and young families are catered for with the provision of a high chair and cot.

The Hotel is ideally located, being only a short, level walk to the Rail & Coach stations and shopping areas, and standing in a quiet, tree-lined avenue . It has ten letting rooms, six of which have full En-suite facilities.

As you would expect, all rooms are well decorated and maintained, and have tea/coffee making facilities, central heating, a remotely controlled colour television, digital safe and comfortable beds. What you might not expect though are the value-added touches; like having your room expertly cleaned and tidied, with all consumables replenished every morning, all bedding,which is freshly changed on arrival, completely replaced with freshly laundered sheets etc. every fourth day, early morning wake-up with breakfast facility on request and, if you are going out all day, a packed lunch can be supplied on request at a small charge. You may also order your favorite daily newspaper.

We operate a no-smoking policy in all bedrooms and an emergency night service in case of illness etc. We offer the free loan of a hairdryer, shoe cleaning materials, needle & thread, iron and ironing board (for your own use!) and there is a comfortable television lounge with a range of reading matter and jigsaw puzzles. For the less abled guest, we do have one wheelchair available for loan (Free of charge). Please ask if you require this facility. For your added convenience, we offer a few essentials at very good prices. These include toothpaste, shampoo, de-odorant etc.

A three course Evening meal is available at extra cost. You may also purchase snacks and refreshments in the bar, which is fully licenced. The quality and level of accommodation is reflected by the number of return guests we receive, or their colleagues who arrive through recommendation.
